How can we help? What is LifeLine Counselling?Talking HelpsIt may be that you just need some support.
You may want to talk things over with
someone who won't make a fuss. You may
have something on your mind that you want to work out. We
are not just a crisis service. LifeLine
New Zealand is here for anyone who simply needs to talk.
LifeLine counselling is like putting
a jigsaw puzzle together with someone else. The
LifeLine counsellor is there to help
you identify parts of the puzzle, maybe help you turn some of the pieces
over. But, you are responsible for putting the puzzle together. For contact
details of the LifeLine
Centre's in New Zealand click here. Don't feel like talking? You might prefer to write down how you are feeling rather than picking up the phone. Many people do. LifeLine Christchurch provides a free email counselling service available via email from anywhere in New Zealand. The reply to your email is provided by experienced LifeLine counsellors. (We will use our best endeavors to respond to your email within 3 days. If you want an immediate response phone a LifeLine telephone counsellor on 0800 543 354). For more information about email counselling please click here www.elifeline.co.nz LifeLine's counsellors are non-judgemental and non-directive. We don't give advice and we won't tell you what to do. We offer a confidential service and the caller remains anonymous. If you need more specific help we are able to help you to identify a community agency that may be able to offer it. Thanks to the continued support of our sponsors our service remains totally free. |
